Addict to smoking

Mark is an addict to smoking and he never tries to stop smoking for any reason. I tried advising him many a times but he never take any words from me. I am happy to get a friend like Mark as I mentioned above but at the same time I am sad about his health. Doctor has clearly advised him to quit smoking because of his bad lung.
